1892 Gelegenheidsuitgiften / Commemoratives

In Argentinië werden de zegels sinds 1892 gedrukt door enkele particuliere ondernemingen en pas later door de Staatsmunt (Casa de Moneda de la Nación) / In Argentina stamps had been produced by private enterprises first and later on by the State Mint (Casa de Moneda de la Nación).

by Rein 17 Sep 2009 10:52 In the pages of Taullard that Pablo showed us the Sol Chico is supposed to have 3 versions, but on page 147 you may read that there is also a 4th version - the Sol grande? Or does that only refer to the 1892 Rivadavia c.s.??

In the stamp I show below is the controll mark - sol chico to be see from the front of the stamp! and not ony that, also the guiding dot in the left bottom corner!

Also in the picture Martin Dellacasa (ntrm) showed us you can see the controll mark, but not the guiding dot:

I have read that there are differences between the number of passengers who are on deck between a fake and a legitimate stamp.
