The values of this series were issued 23.10.1940. All had been printed in photogravure on the newly bought sheet-fed press Mailander. The paper used for this first part of the set was with an orthogonal watermark Sun+AЯ (transposed!) with a symmetrical paper wire and a direction of paper running parallel to the long side of the stamp "M". The 30c and the 50c had been the stamps most frequently used - at least could be found in various appearances into the early 1950-ies... |
